Wedding Card

I don't make many wedding cards being more of an age for grandparent cards, so enjoyed making this one for a change. Plus other than the date stamp (Pink Gem) everything was free :c) The image is cropped from a freebie called along the beach which I got from here

Everything else is from a free kit from Raspberry Road called butterfly dreams. I added loads of stickles and a bit of glamour dust here and there.
Challenges:

totally Gorjuss - as you like it
Charisma Cardz - glitter it
Digi doodle Shop - anything goes

Anyhoo we have a choice of recipes for you - I've chosen shabby chic, pearls and lace. I did go a bit OTT with the pearls as they were stuck down individually and still haven't found the ones that escaped across the room :c)
Please hop over to the challenge to see the other girls last creations - sob sob! and leave us some love.

Template for notebook box

Sorry I thought you would be able to read the sizes.
You need 2 A4 sheets.
All my instructions are in inches :c)
Cut one to 10.5 by 8.25 (width of normal A4)
Score at 0.5 and 1 along both long side to form the box bits
Score lines shown above from the left at 1.5, 2, 7, 7.5
Cut away the top and bottom section as in the pic
You will need another piece of card 5 by 6.25 to form the front.

Hope that helps

Christening Card Mark 2

This was the card I should have been making yesterday for my friends grandson- it's also the card that very nearly ended up in the round recepticle!!!! I've never done cut it out yourself decoupage and that turned out to be the easy bit lol!
As you'll have noticed it doesn't close properly but looks ok to me. The string was an afterthought to cover up where I'd put the sentiment on at the wrong angle and it marked the paper but I really like that now.
I only used 3 of the layers as I didn't want to tempt fate and lose any important bits lol!
The real disaster was the box - measure twice and cut once - did that so how did I end up with a box where the bottom didn't fit the card and a lid that was half an inch bigger than the bottom but still didn't fit the card???? So i had to start again - this time I made the bottom and checked it fitted before I did anything else.

If my friend doesn't like it I might just make her eat it lol!
Hugs,
Debbie xx

Christening Card

This little guy arrived all the way from the USA today (delivered in 6 days by Whimsy Stamps) and I just had to ink him straight away. My friend has asked me to make her a christening card for her grandson so instead of doing hers I made mine lol!
Then I had the idea of making a clock as a gift - really wish I'd made it to match now it's finished but too late lol! I've now made 7 of these all together and only have 3 mechanisms left - great for recycling CDs although I have used a new one this time.

Anyhoo our theme this fortnight at Creative Inspirations is Back to School and I've used a Tiddly Inks Digi to make a box for a notebook - that way when it gets used you just put another one in. We're sponsored by Simon says Stamp and Joanna Sheen so even more reasons to enter :c)

Shaped Cards at IDIC

We want to see shaped cards at I Did it Creations this week. I've used as I lay me down to sleep by Robin's Fetish who is our sponsor this week as always if you wish to join in you can request one of the DT's images for free to play along although you can use any image you like.

I've made a card from a Nestie label die and an oval Nellie one which I embossed with divine swirls and added some pearls. Just for a change with the colouring I've used Promarkers and pencils.
Challenges:
DYSU - emboss it
Digi doodle Shop - shaped cards
Crafty Sentiments - punches & die cuts
Fuzzy Wuzzy - shaped cards
Crafty Catz - embossing

Lolly Flowers

Sometimes my ideas come from nowhere lol! I was originally going to make a bouquet but the straws weren't up to the job so made holes in a piece of card much like xmas tree lights
The die is a Sizzix red one and the papers are all double sided MME ones - lollies covered in tin foil from Lidl :c)

Challenges:
Papertake weekly - alter flowers
hooked on crafts - something sweet (lollies)
Make it Monday - anything goes
Corrosive - earth tones

Love is in the Air for Teddy Bo Tuesday

Awwwww this is a handy theme at Teddy Bo for me this time as it's my wedding anniversary on Thursday - 3 whole years since I lost my sanity for the second time LOL!
I've used Teddy Bo & Bea Tabs no 4 and teamed them with Henbury Lane papers.
There are some fantastic new images this week including the first one of a new scratchy series (Bo doesn't really have fleas) and there's even a sale so you can get more paws for your pennies

Hugs

The Reason I've Lost Most of This Week

And he's only just over a week old :c)
Tall and very tanned child or Auntie was smitten!
Even roughty toughty hubby thought he was incredibly cute!

He already has his own shetland pony and jodphurs - not that his mum is horse mad or anything :c)

Children at IDIC

We have a theme of children at I Did it Creations this week and a fabulous sponsor of Ellephantastic.
I've used this great image called Rory football and coloured him with a mixture of promarkers and watercolour pencils for a change.
Please nip on over to the challenge blog to check out the work of the rest of the wonderful DT.
Hugs,
Debbie x

Baby Card & Hamper

I have the concentration of a gnat at the moment so colouring and me are not friends lol! I found this box card at Scrapbooking Mad and as you'll recognise it's a nit wits one. Loads of cutting a lot of scratching head and fingers crossing that it was still all stuck together this morning and here it is :c)
You even get a box in the download but I forgot to take a piccy of it - fingers crossed I can write it without stuffing it up
I got the hamper from our local charity shop and have padded the bottom out with nappies and wipes - sorry about the rubbish pic but it's very dark in our dining room
