Here's another one

I normally only have to make teachers gifts every other year as the children have the same teacher for 2 years in the village school. This year Abby is leaving primary school and moving up so I have loads to do (well all 3 class teachers, the head and Abby's teaching assistant).
This lovely butterfly paper reminds me of vanilla and strawberry ice cream just right for the Charisma challenge this week. The Hobby Art bears on the card are attached with a brad so they go up and down. but the ones on the clock are stuck down.
Here they are both together just need to make a box
Challenges:
Paperplay - anything but a card
Crafty Creations - thank you
Pixie cottage - strawberries & cream
Bows n Berries - thank you
Crafty Pad - pastels

12 Bo Clock

It's Teddy Bo wednesday here - with something not a card - Bo looks a bit concerned that he has something sprouting from his tummy button but maybe that will teach him not to kidnap Gayle again or he'll get pinned down.

I saw the CD clock idea on my fab creative friend Jenny's blog and tall child said she would like one then she said it had to be blue and have a bear on it with the hands coming out of his tummy so 12 Bo clock was born. There will be several more of these as I've been instructed to make 5 more for teachers presents.............. fortunately we have a whole stack of corrupted CDRs to alter :c)

Challenges:
going grey with scrap creations - abac
tip top tuesday - something with T (teddy bear)
pile it on - going round in circles
challenge up your life - circles
crafty emma - anything but square

Buddy Bear is a real Oldie

This is my second guest DT card for Oldie but a Goodie and I'm really enjoying digging around in my real stamps to create my projects. There's an easy theme this fortnight of Anything Goes so I've used a really old Buddy bear Stamp from Nutcrafters with some MME papers that have also been sitting in my stash for ages.
Just remember if you are going to join us that your main image must be a real hands on inky type stamp (no digis) and it must be at least 6 months old

Challenges:
Pear tree - stamp something
Delicious Doodles - cute & cuddly
Stampin for the Weekend - Fave things (bears)
I love promarkers - anything goes
Cards for Men - stars

Teddy Bo Tuesday

New releases at Teddy Bo and a new challenge which is Anything but a Card. It's the turn of our brand new furry team B this week so I'm having a rest today although I may have something later in the week :c)

Christmas in June

We've gone all festive over at I Did It Creations this week with Christmas in June - I'd like to get a touch of summer first but never mind. We're sponsored by Robyn's Fetish this week and I've gone for traditional red & green with a touch of kraft for Frosty Da Snowman.

A Cat and a Card

I have no idea why Pansy insists on sitting on random things left on the floor but at least it keeps her off my lap lol! Am soooo fed up of having fur fabric clothes :c)
The card was a quicky print it off one from Scrapbooking Mad. It's for my father-in-law whose birthday isn't until the beginning of July but they'll be away on holiday so had to get it in the post pronto! I always try to have a Scottish theme to his cards but after several years am now struggling. According to Google the sentiment means Happy Birthday in Scottish Gaelic (fingers crossed) I'm sure I'll soon find out if says may all your sheep be smelly or something LOL!

We've had a bit of a traumatic week so far - Hubby went back to the Doctors about his diabetes and all his levels had gone up so is now on a gazillion tablets. I had advised him that the doctor was to find him some get up and go as I was fed up with him being less use than a couch potato!!!
Plus in an attempt to declutter the house I cleared out the bottom of the airing cupboard and found a leak from the immersion tank. Typically from the tank and not from a pipe grrrrrr - plumber came today and we're having a new one fitted on Tuesday - OUCH! Least it will be fixed so it won't leak through the ceiling while we're out the house :c)

Bo-tiful Tuesday

Bo is manfully struggling with a very small glass of Irn Bru - ok who am I kidding! He is of course made in Scotland but don't think Gayle used any girders. You still have time to join in our Bling it on challenge at Teddy Bo - I've used diamond Glaze on his pint and even managed to get a couple of realistic bubbles in it lol!
This was hubby's Father's day card. The paper was unearthed during the great spare room tidy up and the sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp. It was looking a bit bare even for me so I added some card candy and faux stitching.

Where in the world

I had a bounce up and down moment the week before last when I was asked to be guest designer for Oldie but a Goodie Challenge for May and June and then I panicked as I wasn't sure how to interpret this fortnight's theme of Where in the World.
In the end I borrowed hubby's Scottish Nationality and used Maggie in Kilt from Sugar Nellie - sadly these cuties have been discontinued but I may have one or two in my stash :c)

Bling it On Teddy Bo!

Bo is very happy sparkly and chilled this week - think Lucy in the sky with diamonds lol!
I've used Teddy Bo Have a Hippy day from last weeks release and added loads of glamour dust so he fits our challenge for this fortnight - Bling it On
The background is from Tiddly Inks and the sentiment mounted on a Nellie heart is from Imagine That
Please nip over to the challenge to see what the other girlies have been up to and of course check out the new images for this week

More Tulips

More of the same set of Wax Fruit Company Tulips today especially for the Less Is More challenge on 1 layer plus a frame.
I also tried something new today I coloured the leaves using Gimp free image manipulation software before pasting the digi paper into the flowers and I braved printing directly onto the card blank.
And then I did a blue one too just by removing the pink dotty paper and adding some blue water paper from Panda Bear Designs

Couple of bunnies

I made these a few days ago as I had the remains of my GDT goodie bag from Makin it with Meslyn sat on the dining table and have only just got round to posting them. There is a new challenge over there this month called Beach Party.
Everything is craftwork cards other than the happy flower sentiment on the 2nd one which is a personal impressions stamp

Bea is 3 - again!

Does that now make her 6 lol - I've paperpieced Bea with some papermania dotty paper, added strategic stickles and cut a frame for the Forever Friends number stamp with my latest Nellies. The background paper is Henbury Lane.
I just need to remember to take her to work with me in the morning as she's a request :c)

Challenges:
Charizma - how old?
Crafty Sentiments - sparkle
DYSU - Birthday
Little Miss Muffett - numbers
Papertake - anything goes
Tuesday throwdown - animals

Teddy Bea Number Three

Bea, well Rihanna is 3 next week so I made this easel card to celebrate.
I've added loads of glitter to her hat and made the pattern on her dress with more glitter. Her bright red boots have been covered with diamond glaze.
Bea and the three have been decoupaged. the knitted paper was designed by Bea's mum Gayle ;c)
The flowery paper is nitwits
Don't forget you still have until Sunday night to enter our shaped cards challenge - if you wish to be apply for the DT don't forget those magic letters after your name.

Just because

I only just spotted this gorgeous stamp from Sugar Nellie. It's a fundraising stamp. I've teamed her here with Nitwits papers (how did I manage without these) and a quilt from fairydoodler that I paperpieced.
The layout is the paper pretties sketch and I would also like to enter her into Crafty Emmas
clean & simple challenge

Less is More

Time has got away with me the last few weeks but have managed to make a card for this weeks less is more monochrome challenge. I've printed this beautiful Wax Fruit Company gerbera onto Nitwits paper and then layered it onto navy card to match the gems.

I would also like to enter it into Crafty Emmas Store Clean & Simple challenge
