Girlie Girlie at One Stitch at a Time

The theme this week over at OSAAT is girly or use the pic as colour inspiration. What could be more girly than a handbag (ok then shoes lol!) To make mine I've used these wonderful papers calls Fun & Funky by Floppy Latte designs that you can get from the Crafting Boutique
This week we're sponsored by the wonderful Kenny K - if you haven't seen his images you really need to go check them out but not before you've nipped over to the challenge blog to see what some of the other girls have made with his designs.

I didn't want to leave my bag empty (or should I say my daughter's bag as she nabbed it before it was stuck properly) so I also made a calendar, a notepad, a sticky notes holder and some matching paperclips. I even put brads on the bottom as little feet - roll over Radley & Chloe Padster is the way to go LOL! I would love to say I designed this myself however I used a tutorial which I printed off and have now recycled and can't find but do remember that it was by someone who had seen it at a Stampin Up day so if it's you or you have it book marked please leave me a comment so I can put a link up :c)
Newsflash - OSAAT and IDIC are joining forces on 12th September in a Special Autism Awareness challenge for Cameron if you would like some further info please click on the badge at the top of my sidebar

Sketch time at I Did it Creations

This week over at I Did it Creations we're having a sketch challenge - fortunately for me it's a nice easy one (although I've rotated it). For my card this week I've used Stitchy's lovely image called Letters Home which you can buy in the store. As she's also our sponsor this week you could be lucky enough to win it if you enter.

Newsflash:  After this challenge we will be moving to Sunday's to coincide with One Stitch at a Time - that means I'll only have to remember one date a week for my autoposts :c)

Newsflash!

Announcement - you'll have seen in the last couple of posts that I haven't listed all the ins and outs of what I've used in my latest creations.
To be honest it takes me so long to post these days I just be bothered but if you desperately need to know what I've used and or where I've got it from then either ask by posting a comment or email me at the address in my profile and I'll do my best to dig around in my frankly awful memory and answer you LOL!

Just in case you were wondering the picture is my tall (can't really call her small any longer as she comes up to my nose now) child and my friends latest grandson Euan - spelt that way to prevent his great grandma calling him eeeeeeee wan LOL!

Mini Card!

Sometimes I just can't get my head around how big to print my digi images off - the bonus is I now have this teeny one to play with for the Allsorts challenge to make something less than 3 inches. Its another Stitchy image available from IDIC & SBS Crafting Boutique (why do I always think Emporium when I go to type this?) but I can't remember what it's called so treat yourself and go over there and have a browse LOL!

Start of the Stitchy Fest

I've just got my DT rotas for the next few weeks and Stitchy seems to have drawn the short straw as she's lucky enough to have me show casing her designs lol! Thought I'd get in early with this one called Butterfly Love which you can get at the I Did it Creations and Stitchy Bear Crafting Boutique

I also have an apology to make as I read this brilliant tutorial about how to make glittery images but now have no idea where so I take no credit for this. I will explain how its done though.
Do what you want to do with your image - I coloured it with promarkers
Whop it all over with your glue pad - I used Versamark
Sprinkle glitter embossing powder all over it - think this was Stampendous Crystal
then heat.
Doesn't really show well in the pictures but is a great cheapskate way of making matching glitter card but watch your fingers near the edges ( I melted my thumbnail yet again!)
I would like to enter her into:
Stamp with fun - card for a girl
Lexi creations - Emboss it
MAWTT - All that glitters
Creative Card Crew - Sparkle & Shine
Craft Your Days Away - With Wings

Coasters and Pooh!

It was finally my friend's birthday yesterday so I can now post pics of a couple of her pressies. The cushion was great fun to stitch and she loved it even if it was Pooh! LOL!

I've had these stamps (Penny Black set Nine Lives) for ages and didn't know what to do with them - no idea where coasters randomly popped into my head from but there you go. The pink checky paper is from Tinker & Co
I'd like to enter the coasters into the craft your passion challenge and the order of the opus gluei

Fantasy at OSAAT

It's fantasy over at OSAAT this week so you need to dig out those dragons and flush out those fairies lol!
We've also had a bit of a merger so the store is now called Stitchy Bear & I Did it Creations Crafting Emporium (what a mouthful) but now I don't have to toss a coin which shop I link to for my DT projects plus there are some fantastic new creators in there so you might like to nip over and fill a basket or two ;c)

I had a really difficult task picking my image this week as I was working with Stamping Dragon so it was a no brainer that it was going to be a dragon but which one???? Janette also creates scrap kits and papers so once I saw the Basic Christmas papers it made up my mind. This is Jiggy with presents with his paper pieced plaid hat and presents - I was originally going to piece the ribbons as well but chickened out and  coloured them with promarker. I also added gems where the baubles should be to hide my dodgy craft knife cutting :c) The gold holographic card was from the pound shop and the sentiment is a Craftwork Cards one surprise surprise!

I would also like to enter him into:
Our Creative Corner - It's Embossable
