Thanks for Paws

This is another Hobby Art bear stamp called Paw in Paw. The paper was a freebie from a magazine. The flowers and the sentiment are cut from Core'dinations using the EK success Retro Flower punch and the die from the Cuttlebug With Gratitude set.

Just a Beer Bear

Only one more to go now phew! I only bought this Just a Bear stamp last week but knew he would be perfect holding the digi beer glass that was a freebie from Digistamp Boutique ages ago. I printed it in 2 different sizes and used it as embellishments and a kind of dangly charm.
Cheers for all these challenges!
Fab n Funky - sketch
OSAAT - something new
Crafty Creations - fave stamp (he's the fave this week lol!)
AI Factory - hip to be square
Aud's Sentiments - it's your day
DareU2Digistamp - one for the boys

Footy Father's Day

Father's day is coming up soon so have made another one of the 4 cards I need.
The Image is one that the lovely Rainmac kindly sent me. I found the paper in my stash and had forgotten all about it, it's by Buzzcraft. I don't know where the football stamp came from but embossed it to give it a bit of shine.
I would like to enter it into:
Crafty Catz - the boys are back
The Crafty Pad - male card
Ooh La La - bright & cheerful

Yummy Yummy

There's yummy blog candy over at The Creative Cottage at the moment - love that cute little piggy lol!
Photobucket

Bonkers Bunnies

These cute little bouncers are part of a 9 image set that was a freebie a while ago from Bugaboo so be prepared to see the rest of them shortly lol!
When I saw the Pink Elephant challenge was Orange I thought of Marg and her recent excitement when Blackpool were promoted to the premier league and combined it with the Sweet Sunday sketch.
Furry Friends and Anything Goes are the current challenges on OSAAT and Passion for Promarkers respectively. I think it qualifies as a vivid card for the My Time to Craft Challenge (it's brighter in real life than in the photo).
Paper is My Mind's Eye Bohemia and the sentiment is a rub on - not used them before and may be some time before I do again as it was a nightmare!

Vintage, Distressed and that's just me!

Don't be surprised if you see a lot of things you would never have even dreamt I had in the next few weeks as I attempt a stash diet. The embossed clock stamp that I have used in the background is from B Line Designs called Tick Tock and was a must have can't live without about 3 years ago along with the ticket stamp from Crafty Individuals. I think I have now used these twice!
The image is a Stitchy Stamps Digi called Emma - everything in the store has 50% off until the end of the month. Even though I'm not spending doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't :c)
The coloured flower is a Prima one and the glittery one was from Nutcrafters.
No patterned papers on this one even though I bought over 300 sheets this month Gulp! The cardstock is core'dinations distressed with scissors and sandpaper and the circle embossed with Victoria cuttlebug folder.
I highlighted the 50 on the clock face as it's for a 50th birthday and am not sure she's too impressed with her age to be lol!

I would like to enter this into:
Create for Fun - Vintage
Saturday Challenge - No Patterned Paper
Sketchy Colours - Earthy Colours
Quixotic - Emboss It
Cute Card Thursday - No Patterned Paper
Crafts and Me - Distressed

The image was a freebie from Stampin Dragon Designs - you can buy her other fab designs at Stitchy Bear Stamps
The paper is from DCWV the Spring Stack

The bunny charm was from Nutcrafters
The number was cut with a Sizzix Alphabubbles Die

Stash Diet

The last of my stash buying spree arrived today including another Hobby Art bear stamp. The scissors were a Poundworld bargain.
I've decided to set myself a challenge of not buying any new stash until next payday at the end of June - have been cold turkey for 4 days now :c)

LOTV Blog Candy

All I can say is WoW! what fab candy - Lili of the Valley are offering a full set of the new release stamps to one lucky winner but you gotta go quick coz it's only open for 2 days.
Fingers crossed!

Not quite a craft room

But it is a start lol! Most of my craft stuff lives in the spare room but there is always something lurking on the dining room table. As my MIL is visiting at the weekend OH has gone into tidy mode so decided to use it to my advantage lol!

This space which was referred to as a drink's shelf when we bought the house but was originally the fire place used to be home to a motley assortment of CDs and DVDs I've moved them onto our Ikea bookcase and now have a little cubby hole so I can clear the table - it looks very empty tonight :D

Photobucket

Thank you Karen!

The lovely Flourgirl from MSE very kindly stitched a bookmark for my OH to let float in the bath after he gets it for Father's Day so to say thank you I made this ATC with my new Nutcrafters stamp that I bought with the voucher I won recently.

Cheer me up Bear

I've had this cute little guy squirreled away in my bears folder for ages. He says Sassy Cheryl on the bottom so guess he came from there but don't remember anything about it.
The paper is called Wedded Bliss by Reminisce and is green on the other side but stuck with the brown and cream. Found some mini pegs in my stash and added a bit of string to "hang" the sentiment on.
I would like to enter him into:
Paper Sundaes - Easel card
Quirky Cards - Chocolate and cream (plus a bit of green)
Crafty Creations - Encouragement
Charisma Cardz - 3D (easel card)

New Stash

Don't you just love it when your stash arrives!
The bottom 2 rows are what I bought with my Nutcrafters voucher. The next ones up are all from eBay. Just a Bear wasn't a bargain as I was outbid at the last second and couldn't up my bid in time so bought a new one as was watching the auction finish and had decided what I was going to do with him but how cute is he? :cD
The top row are the embossing folders and dies from Crafts U Love half price so bought both :c)

Not cardmaking stash but another eBay bargain - am going to try and stitch them in secret to make a pair of cushions for not so small child although may struggle to part with them lol!

Primark Bargain

The bargain Primark £1 earrings were originally a string of the 3 pink gems which almost touched my shoulders lol!
I cut them off at 1 gem threaded on of the pairs left over onto a chain and the other pair onto a keyring.
The bag is a Tommy and Kate one that I bought my friend for her birthday and have borrowed back - I sooooooooo don't do pink :c)
Photobucket

Flowers

After fighting with my flowers this is what I ended up with - am quite pleased with them. Wrapped in pink swirly cellophane with wired organza bow thingy and tag :c)

Ice Duo

When I saw this weeks sketch on the Sweetest Thing I knew it was perfect for the Olympic Ice Duo silhouette from Stitchy Stamps and have made it into an Anniversary card for my husband's brother and sister in law. I've kept it simple and used DCWV Linen Closet paper and black and white card also using it to make the flowers with a Sizzix die and added some black gems.

Sweet Sketch Bear

Just a quick card loosely based on the Sweet Stop's sketch - I loved the sketch but couldn't be bothered to make a masculine card to fit the twist.
It's made from bits out of my scrap box and another one of Princess Kaitlyn's bears :c)

The embossing is Cuttlebug herringbone embossing folder
Photobucket

Pink Nymph

I haven't used a silhouette for a couple of weeks - this one is from a collection by Stitchy called Nite Nymphs
Stampin with the Dragon's current challenge is Risque and this is about as daring as I'm likely to get lol!
The challenge one OSAAT is anything but a card so have used an offcut of the DCWV Spring Stack and made it into an ATC .
As I've used a star charm I would also like to enter it into these challenges:

Polka Doodles Freebie Again

As I'd printed off more of the Polka Doodles freebie kit and I'd also embossed more Daisy and Dandelion images I thought I'd better put a card together for my daughter to give her dad even if it is a bit early.
Cute Card Thursday have a challenge for Someone Special and he is to her and Stamp Scrap and Doodle's challenge is for a masculine card
Photobucket

Early Father's Day Card

Last week my friend insisted I needed to borrow her Daisy and Dandelion stamps. This week I found out why as she asked me to make her a Father's Day card lol! There's a gorgeous freebie kit on Polka Doodles to celebrate their birthday so printed it off straight away. Green Bazzil basics to make an easel card layering the image onto black card plus a snap and some card candy finish it off.

MSE Music Challenge

Scatty Jan was the lucky winner of my B challenge so she got to set the new challenge and chose a theme of Music.
Not wishing to ruin my reputation of having a bear for all occasions I scoured my collection and found the trumpet player and added a dancer just for good measure. They came from a CD that Princess Kaitlyn picked out for me and sent with last month's ATC swap.
The music paper was from a pound block that I bought at a craft fair years ago and had forgotten all about plus some prima flowers, pearls and a Craftwork Cards sentiment and voila!!

Teddy Stamps

This cute Bentley Bear stamp plus more of him and his cute friends were the freebies with Cardmaking and Papercrafting magazine this month and thought he fitted really well with the sketch over at Teddy Stampers this fortnight
I added some buttons as a change from gems for the Cupcake Crafts challenge and got some shine on with some more of my bargain holographic card for the Hand Full of Stamps challenge.
This is my favourite stamp this week, well he's a bear so it's a no brainer really lol! so he's ready For Fun.

A bit of a play!

I had a few new bits to play with this week so combined them onto a card
Cat Image - freebie stamp with Cardmaking and Papercrafting magazine
Swirl Stamp - Pollycraft Sale
Prima E-line flowers - sort of free as were bought to get 10% discount. I looked all over for these last week and when I was looking for something else there they were, exactly where I thought I'd put them in the first place grrrr!
Holographic card - 15 sheets in a pack from Poundworld
